People

My intention for this space is to present some of the people whom I have known and loved as well as those whom I have lost over these many years. Now, in my seventy-fourth year many of these faces are frozen and lost in time. I did not know how to keep them.  I did not know how important they were, not then when I had them, only now after so many have slipped through my fingers. They have traveled into their own futures and I into mine without a look back. I simply let them go.  I have made photographs.  In the 60's and 70's, we had no concept of loosing one another. We would always be connected to one another in the family further.  This gallery is for all of you, my dear ones.  I will always love you.

Take lots of picture of all of your people.  Do not be shy.  They will get used to the camera.  If they object to being photographed, beg for "one or two that no one else will ever see."  Also, I suggest that you record voices in sound of stories from  your old ones, your ansestors to be.  They will be the first to leave you.  Their voices can heal the grief of their loss and keep them close to you heart.
